welcome to my blog
Between The Bell & The Break
This space is an ever-evolving love letter to all the beautiful people who have invited me into their lives over the past 20 years.
I believe wisdom to be a co-created process of unfolding.
We move our suffering from life’s challenges into greater understanding and choice when we engage in building a mindful life individually and in community.
In mindfulness practice, the bell is a call to awareness. It brings our attention into focus and helps us settle into the moment as it is. The break is the moment we let go, surrendering resistance to accept the moment as it is. For me the space between is the practice of being human. Between the Bell the Break is where our lives can rush in like a thunderstorm or float in like a cloud and every degree of intensity in between. This space is an inner map of our love, loss, purpose, inheritance, connection, work and the key to our freedom. This blog explores mindfully being human and the practices that can support building a mindful life. I hope you enjoy this offering from the co-created wisdom of thousands of wonderful humans who are on a path of transformational growth.
May you be well, May I be well, May we all be well.

I dedicate this blog specifically to the middle school kids I taught for 3 years in Miami.
While fully into adulthood now, I will forever hold them in my heart as my brilliant, vibrant, complex, super funny, super honest mindfulness teachers. Thank you for trusting me early on and going along with the messy ride of us each finding our inner peace amidst the chaos. (Yes, I remember when the table fell and rolling fireball votives flew through our group body scan. 😊)
